Grape varieties: 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo)
Winemaking: Pre-fermentation maceration in cold at 8ºC, then traditional process using French wood tanks of 15,000 kg capacity and 100% de-stemmed grape. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 27 to 29°C during 20-23 days. After a run-off wine is left for decanting until barrels are filled.
Barrel aging: Wine ages 14-15 months in barrels and is racked every 3 months.
Bottling aging: Bottles remain 20 months lying down in metallic crates in isolated facility at a maximum temperature of 16°C before are labelled and launched on the market.
Barrel type: 100% French oak (superfine grain)
Alcohol content: 14,5% Vol.
Colour: Deep cherry colour with violet hints, covered and brilliant.
Aroma: Creamy oaky hints, fine woods and fruit background of blackberries and black fruits in general. It offers a great deal of harmony between wood and fruit, which develops into an elegant wine.
Mouth: It is fleshy, powerful and well structured enhancing the ripe fruit notes that are softened by its aging time in fine oaky woods. It is warm and velvety.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Suggested dishes: Red meats, roast meats, game and cheeses.
