Grape varieties: 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo)
Winemaking: Pre-fermentation maceration in cold at 8ºC, then traditional fermentation process using French wood tanks of 15,000 lt. capacity and 100% de-stemmed grape. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 27 to 29°C during 20 days. After a run-off wine is left for decanting until barrels are filled.
Barrel aging: Wine ages 24 months in barrels and is racked every 3 months.
Bottling aging: Bottles remain 12 months lying down in metallic crates in isolated facility at a maximum temperature of 16°C before are labelled and launched on the market.
Barrel type: 100% French oak
Alcohol content: 14% - 14,5% Vol.
Colour: Cherry red, bright and clear with good depths.
Aroma: Clean nose, highly complex bouquet, with hints of balsam and vanilla.
Mouth: A very well made wine, smooth but with powerful flavors, long, full finish with attractive nuances of aged wine and fruit in the aftertaste. Powerful and elegant.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Recommended for: Red meat and roast meats.
